We experienced a deep and overwhelming sadness in 2025 when we lost our baby to stillbirth at 26 weeks. We found the feeling of grief hard to put into words—a quiet kind of heartbreak that lingers in everything. We had already imagined a future with our baby, felt the movements, made space in our hearts and home, and then it was all suddenly gone. The silence that followed was deafening. It wasn’t just the loss of a baby, but the loss of a lifetime of memories we had hoped to create. In our grief, we searched for a tangible vessel, a piece of jewellery to hold his ashes, but found only empty spaces where such a thing should have been. It was in this desperate search, born from the depths of our love and loss, that the idea for urn jewellery sparked.
